How-to Action Plan

April 2001

By following the PROgrowth process, The Hall Group, Inc. (THG) and The Weather Museum have explored a broad array of opportunities that could help move The Weather Museum forward to the next phase of it’s development. The Growth Strategy Session, held on April 27, 2001, helped to distill those ideas and define which of the opportunities The Weather Museum wishes to pursue. This How-to Action Plan is a recommendation from THG on how best to implement the opportunities that have been selected.

THG’s specific recommendations for maximizing these opportunities are on the following page. Each opportunity has several Aaction Iitems. associated with it. TheEach Aaction Iitems are is a specific steps that The Weather Museum can take toward achieving the selected goals.

This How-to Action Plan is based on the results of THG’s research, the 28 completed discussions, and discussions with potential board memberson your behalf. By focusing on these ideas and following through on the leads generated, The Weather Museum is well positioned to take advantage of the opportunitites and the selected goals.

  • Split the Advisory Board into corporate and community boards.
